Everything you need to sit your SaltyCell at the right height and lock it firmly in the tray. Sometimes when you buy a replacement battery they are a little shorter than the lead acid battery they replace, which can leave your factory clamp short of the case. The Fitment Kit closes that gap.
In the kit
- Adjustable hold down clamp: black coated steel crossbar, suits batteries 130 to 190mm wide (every SaltyCells battery is 174 to 175mm wide)
- Two zinc plated J bolts, 245mm long, with brass wing nuts and spring washers
- Six black HDPE riser strips, 170 x 60 x 10mm, stackable for 10, 20 or 30mm of lift
Why HDPE
Rigid, non conductive and resistant to oil and battery acid, so the riser will not compress and let the clamp work loose.
Fitting
Place one stack of strips under each end of the battery, sit the battery on the strips, hook the J bolts under the tray edge and tighten the crossbar until the battery cannot move. Check the bonnet clears the terminals.

SC-NA1260, SC-NA1260L, SC-NA1270-280, SC-NA1280 and SC-EU1280. On the SC-NA1280 use up to 20mm of lift with the supplied bolts.
